Dead Birds in Arkansas Were Preceded by 100,000 Dead Fish
Arkansas Residents Await Word of Cause of Strange Wildlife Deaths
The red-winged blackbirds in Arkansas reported just fell from the sky on New Year's Eve. The carcasses littered the ground of Beebe, Arkansas. The mayor of the small town just northeast of Little Rock stated that the last of the dead birds were removed about 11 a.m. Sunday, the 2nd of January. He went on to say that 12 to 15 workers, hired by the city to do the cleanup, wore environmental-protection suits for the task.
It was like a scene from a bad movie to have these workers in hazmat suits and breathing masks crawling through the town, in people's yards and on their roofs collecting the dead birds. Even more worrisome from some residents were the people that used their bare hands to remove the birds from their property. Resident, Janis Donahue, stated that "her husband picked up around 35 or 40 birds in their yard alone."
While the dead birds made the new first, the fish were found as early as last Thursday, December 30th, bordering about 20 miles of a river in Ozark, Arkansas. Officials are saying that 100,000 dead drum fish are the only species of fish that were found deceased.
Keith Stephens of the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission told CNN, "The fish kill only affected one species of fish. If it was from a pollutant, it would have affected all of the fish, not just drum fish."
The two towns affected by this mystery are about 125 miles apart in Arkansas. It is interesting to note that the number of fallen birds continues to rise as stories are reported about the incident. First it was 1,000 dead birds, then 2,000 dead birds, now some reports have the number as high as 5,000 dead birds.

what happened to the fishes?
U for got about the oil in the waterssss.
Only some of you will get this, most will not. Last night I dreamed a dream. I saw in the eastern sky a turbulance in the atmosphere. Out of this turbulance came fast flying objects, the nature of which I could not discern. I awoke and then went back to sleep and the dream continued as before but this time a missle of sorts came slowly out of the turbulence, tumbled slowly as if manuevering, turned west toward St. Louis, Mo. It started toward the city and I knew it would strike the ciy. It did and the whole city erupted in fire. Some will understand this. Most will not.
the dudes were out fixing our powerlines . in front at work . what was going in no idea , am radio reception @ at 0610 mhz was out of wack . I went outside and all these black winged birds were flying franticly . in a counter clockwise flight pattern . they were in flight from the south going north . none of them died but they were in a state of panic . they landed on trees and the ground . and as if they could not fly right . suddenly . sat there for @ 3 minutes . all of them .quietly then suddenly they went airborn . perhaps 1000 of them or more . 2:30 pm . weird never saw that happen before . 2 hours later no birds in the sky .
