Do you know if there is a registered sex offender in your neighborhood? Is there legislation that facilitates the dissemination of this information to your doorstep? For example, do you receive a posting in your mail informaing you that one of your neighbors is a registered offender?
If not, I would highly encourage you to contact your local congressperson and ask this person to start legislation which would pass and make our kids safer.
In the meantime, be aware. And speak up when you know. Because dead girls can't talk, we do the talking for them.
