In Knoxville, Tennessee, I was making my usual rounds doing energy healings, spiritual transmissions, and de-possessions, when I was asked to help a woman with a problem that she had been suffering with for years. She had been married to a man who was somewhat controlling, and obsessed with her. His death did little to change that.
She felt his presence around her, watching her, guiding her in ways more beneficial to his ego than to her needs, creating mischief in her life. She was distraught, but keeping up a full time job, family, and her own spiritual practices. She was grounded and believable.
This kind of thing does happen often, where a ghost will become attached to someone and try to influence her, speak to her, prompt her, come into her dreams, affect people around her. If you suspect something like that may be happening to you, you may want to do a ritual of intent, talking to the ghost and cutting cords, being adamant that it is not allowed, and finding how you can be of service in making the ghost go where it should go.
I set up the woman's living room so that I could walk easily in a circle. I brought out some tools, crystals, incense, a feather, a shaker, and used them. I started pacing in a circle, shaking the shaker regularly, speaking silently to the ghost. I didn't literally see him, but I knew he could hear me, and I sensed what I could from him. I felt some distance between us, not really feeling his cooperation. I talked to him about his options, but he seemed to know full well that he was dead, had decided against moving into the light, had a bit of a bad attitude, and was holding his own for about an hour of my circling. I knew what to do, though, having done this successfully every time, even doing it at a distance, so I continued communicating with strong will and sensitivity, sending energy to affect the ghost, to change reality. I was in a timeless trance, it had gone on so long, and nothing was outwardly changing, when my willpower and force to move the ghost out of her life succeeded suddenly, surprising me with the drama of it.
All of a sudden, there was an etheric fireworks, an etherically loud sound ---but with nothing physically happening at all, as she confirmed later. I could "see" a tremendous explosion in the room in the air, and it was as if the ghost had been blown up very violently. I was almost shocked, and her little dog was, certainly. It had been sitting there sedately all along, never barked or got agitated, an old, comfortable family member. It did watch what I was doing, but it was as if it was so familiar with the ghost being around, it was no big deal. At the exact moment of the explosion, the dog started going crazy, barking intensely and running around the room while continuing to look at that spot.
Animals are generally very clear about seeing ghosts, and other spirits, and I'm positive this dog saw exactly what happened. But'"what HAPPENED? I was unnerved at first by thinking I had killed the ghost. I felt guilty. I hadn't meant to explode the poor guy to smithereens. But, really, how the heck can we kill a ghost? Come on, now.
So, my feeling is that he left this dimension suddenly, and completely, and that caused the explosion. The form he had been inhabiting, which was stuck in the old patterns, was no longer crystallized on the etheric planes, but released, and his bigger, brighter, more enlightened spirit was able to exist on the higher frequencies.
The woman told me after that she never once had the sense of him being around, and her life changed dramatically therefore, giving her more freedom to date, to do as she wanted, to feel serene.
The veils between the frequency planes are thin, but not thin enough for this ghost to penetrate any more after THAT!
