Deals on Christmas Cookie Cutters: Santas, Trees & Bells... Oh My!

Michelle K. Miller
Year-round we savor the usual plain, round cookies. However, at Christmastime cookies take on a new shape-- several shapes, in fact. From bells, to trees and santas, to stars and wreaths, we can find cookie cutters that have the iconic shape of memorable Christmas items. Here are a few places that can aid you in finding your shapes in your holiday baking this season:

1. Amazon: There's a price that fits every budget for cookie cutters on this site. The best deal I came across was a set of 18 Wilton holiday cookie cutters, for $8.60. Chances are, you'll be buying more holiday items on Amazon, so you can save on shipping.

2. Michael's: It's no surprise that this website (and physical stores) have Christmas cookie cutters, with a selection of baking items all year round. This site offers sets and single cutters. For your favorites, but smaller, there are mini cookie cutters. And for the chef that has trouble with metal cutters, Comfort Grip cutters are available in great holiday colors like red and green.

3. Target: This site offers two different sets of cookie cutters: One offers the letters spelling out "JOY" and "NOEL," as well as the shapes of Christmas ornaments, which I have not usually seen with any other sets. This set is $11.99. The other set is a $19.99 17-piece set that comes with more traditional shapes and even includes a cookie flipper!

4. Wilton: Chances are, serious bakers have a variety of items from Wilton. Some of you may even be purchasing new or extra items from their website, so swing by and check out their collection of cookie cutters, as well as cookie presses. The link here brings you to their 18-piece set.

Whether metal or Comfort Grip, cookie cutters are a vital part of making holiday treats come alive. Order some today, to make delicious treats!

Michelle, I love how you make a detailed list. It has a lot of info, but it's still easy to skim and find what you are looking for. You're a master :)
