DeAnna Pappas and Love's Second Shot

Whitney Diveley
Can you really find love on television? That is what DeAnna Pappas has set out to prove on this season of the Bachelorette. After the upset she had on her first run of this television broad casted dating show, she know is in the drivers seat. She wants to be able to have some control in the outcome.

On last nights episode DeAnna revealed why she let Graham go. She did not want to go through another "Brad" ordeal. If many remember the season she was on was a record breaker. Not only was she not picked in the end, neither was the other woman. 1 This will allowed her to leave in bliss for the Bahamas where she had 3 overnight dates.

First she was with Jeremy, hes a very quiet individual.1 They spent their time there having fun. He gets the opportunity while they are at dinner to tell her that he has fallen in love with her, but could it be to late for this Love struck bachelor.

The next date was with Jason. He is the father of a young boy. DeAnna, like most woman wants to be careful with him because he does have some very fragile extra baggage. In her review Posted on the ABC site though, she "did not expect to fall in love with a man who already has a family, but she can feel everything with Jason". She has stated in recent episodes she realizes that she is not just dealing with Jason, but also his little boy's feelings as well.

Her final overnight date was with Jesse. I think like all woman DeAnna is afraid that she may be seeing a friend card being played. Jesse is a great guy, and a lot of women can see that, but they also see him as a friend and nothing more. Jesse had not kissed her until this date and he stated on last nights episode, "I am glad I waited." He also reveals that he feels they are meant together. Her worries with Jesse are justified. She wants to make sure she would be able to fit into his snowboarding lifestyle. The one mistake I think Jesse may have made was when he acted as if he was going to refuse the fantasy sweet. Most girls daddy's might feel mocked if they had heard that he was just joking.

The two men who received roses:

Jesse and Jason.

This shocked Jeremy. As it would most other men in this position. That is the biggest faux pa in this show. I think that people who go on these should not be shocked when they do not get picked. You may have a connection, but there is always the possibility that one person could have a greater one. As a viewer, I find it somewhat comical when participants get very upset if they are not chosen. Just because you have a connection does not mean you have the best one. So play and watch with some scrutiny.
