Dear Diary, I come to you this day
My fear of things, I cannot say
You are my friend, that listens well
My heart felt secrets, I can tell
You never judge or chastise me
For things, I've done, they could never see
The stories I, must keep inside
You listen close, you help me hide
Problems that, I can't confess
Or why, I lost my happiness
My tears that only you can see
The part that's hidden, inside of me
Troubling times of mass confusion
Never fearing unwanted intrusion
The best friend ever, you are to me
I come to you, Dear Diary
