Since we were apart
The love has strengthened
Within my heart,
Days and nights without you
Have grown lonely and longer
While my love for you has grown
Ever so much stronger;
I lie awake In the dark of the night,
Missing you so, yet, I know
That the two of us will be alright;
You are part of the Desert Shield
Much worst, the Desert Storm,
I will never, never, lose hope
My faith shall remain strong,
I will forever hold on
Until that awesome day,
when you're safely back with me
In my arms to stay;
For now, my love goes with you
to guide you through the night,
And to be your very own private
Desert Light,
Loving you always;
