Dear Mom and Dad,
I see that my stocking is hung and all of my gifts are wrapped.
The house looks so cozy and all of the ornaments are sparkling on the tree.
Picture perfect- like every Christmas was before I was born and the first two years that I spent Christmas with you.
There is my first Ornament, "A Baby's First Christmas" and of course that glowing angel tree topper that Grandma bought just for me.
I will never forget the smiles and laughter that filled our house ever since I was born; the happiness and love is what kept me around the longest.
I know it is hard for you both to continue on and stand in front of the tree to start building Christmas memories without me.
I know you have been thinking you are not really sure what to do today, or for Christmas, or the day after that, you are not sure if you will be able to go on or even get through it, but I promise that you will.
You are sad now but as each Christmas goes by, you will start to smile once again.
When the time is right, I will be sure to send another child your way to fill the empty spaces in your heart that I have left behind.
Go ahead and wrap a Gift for me each year and place it under the tree if it helps.
Go ahead and buy me a new Ornament each year and place it on the tree if it helps.
My Christmas wish to you is that you realize I'm no longer in pain, I no longer hurt, I can breathe a much deeper breath here in Heaven.
God is taking care of me and watching over you both to make sure you are ok.
Really, I'm not all that far away, every time you think of me in your thoughts, I am all that much deeper in your heart.
I am not sad because I know that we will all be together again someday.
Love,
Baby W.
