Dear Mr Obama

Dear President Obama...

I am just another voter that would like,to understand what is happening to our country. I'd love to have you join me on my front porch for a cup of coffee and a smoke. It's only a short walk from the Hayes Presidential Center here in Fremont, Ohio. Y'all can leave all the media folks, secret service guys and gals there so we can talk with out the distraction of them... It's a safe quiet everyday place.

I'd love to understand why it so important to give away so much without any concern as to who will pay for it. I am the grandchild of immigrants that learned the language and customs of this country so they could proudly say "I'm an American." No hyphen wanted or needed.

Mr Obama you claim to want change for the better. I would like to understand how your give away programs are going to change folks attitude about work? My Roosevelt's programs gave many Americans their pride back. Pride in a job well done. Pride in being able to support their family again. I don't see this happening with all this free money flowing into folks pockets and no sweat going out.

I know the bank bailouts and the auto industry loans are necessary. Why didn't we set a few more rules about how it was spent? Aren't the bankruptcy laws designed to allow these companies the opportunity to restructure with out government intervention? Perhaps you don't have the confidence in Capitalism that I have...I believe these folks will figure it out when their backs are against the wall. What does Ford Motor Company know that no one else knows or is willing to admit?

Mr. Obama I know you've only been in office a short time. I imagine you've found the bathroom and perhaps where the Chef hides the chocolate ice cream and Hershey's syrup. I know you have 3 years and 200+ days left in your term of office. Don't you think it's time to pull up your big boy pants and get to work?

I am just an average voter that still has a bit of pride in our country. I face challenges daily just as you do only at a different level. I am not as educated as you and many of your advisors but I do believe in our country. I also believe you are doing the best you can with what you have to work with. I vote and like most folks I have an opinion.

I know Mr Obama will most likely never read this. Perhaps one of his underlings will read this and pass the message to him. I can only reinforce my point. I'd love to have Mr Obama sit on my front porch and share a cup of coffee, a smoke and perhaps a few unsolicited ideas. No need for CNN, FOX, CBS, ABC, NBC, or any other of the Media sharks to know about it....They will only spin the story beyond the truth.

Mizpah..

Dear President Obama...I just spent 14.00 hard earned dollars on a loaf of cheap white bread...1 Gallon of government regulated milk...a pack of value right Bologna...and 1 pound of value right rice..so...could you please tell the federal reserve to stop charging us interest on the money you keep having them print...as an historian... I understand what happens when a president issues interest free money...but I'm asking you to consider issuing some interest free money seeing how your so well versed on Lincoln (Green Backs) and Kennedy (Red Stripe dollars)....and you really seem to like printing money and stuff ..so please consider it...Thank you...your Buddy..:)
