I told my husband, hwy what if Full Time State University Students, not married, and under the age of 30, independent, and not living with their parents, could get some type of insurance plan through their school. Where the monthly payment was included in their school tuition, and even better that even the clinic and or medical staff were right there on Campus?
I think that this would help with the number of young people who are going without medical insurance because they are in school full time, and perhaps have a part time job, and as we know most part time jobs do not offer medical benefits. University professors I am sure have medical, what if this same medical coverage was offered to students at a significantly discounted rate. I mean the schools would possibly have to do some work on organizing such a program, but I think it could work.
Are you a student, would you like to see a plan like this, do you think it would work, why or why not? My husband says I should write Obama a letter; maybe he will get my tweeter about this blog post (LOL)(smile)
