Dear Summer

Dear Summer, I know you going to miss me,

Cause we been together like poetry and "Sin" C,

I'm struggling but do you know my secret,

It's such a blessing I just can't keep it,

Give me a few years and Sin might sneak in,

A few real words then we can be reunited,

They like "why the summer get you so excited"

Well I wait all winter long to have this,

The kiss of sun shining down on me,

But I still don't feel free summer,

People do more crimes in the heat,

But I pray if someone roll up on me they'll be afraid of what they meet,

Raise up something that'll knock you off your feet,

I usually don't greet like that,

But at this point do what you have to do,

Violence is not the point,

Survival is,

I don't talk trash,

I just look out far the family and kids,

Scared of crime I can't do no bids,

But let me not get away from what I came to say,

To my love, you want some time away?

They say if you let real love go it'll be back to stay,

It's still breaking my heart this time apart,

All the work I put in I need an award,

But instead I get nothing,

But you know "C",

Keep it moving until life is over,

Not trying to spend my life looking over my shoulder,

People act strange and funny,

But when clouds are around no ones there,

But wait until it gets sunny,

They like the fake tough guy who's sweet as honey,

You know they just acting, you feel sorry for them,

It's hard to believe but I still love them,

It's like when people talk about you from a distance,

The chance of me not caring is %100,

If you don't want to say it to my face its not even making a dent,

I rarely vent,

Half these guys stay bent,

So if I sent you a thought you wouldn't even know what it meant,

I'm off work and in a good mood,

I'm not trying to mess my day up,

Just want to chill and lay up,

You used to be so far away now you're here Summer,
