Dearest Santa,
Perhaps I do not ask enough so that's exactly what is supplied: Next to nothing. It is not often I have any personal special requests because my needs can only be filled emotionally.
But Santa with your magical twinkle upon those eyes, and bag full of much to surprise, can you pull out some happiness for me?
Maybe a bit of strength, for me when I am weak, a bit of knowing exactly what to do, perhaps a map to point the steps in all the right directions, with the most important questions answered, these wishes are just to name a few.
I've never been a material girl, but then again I'm a woman who has some needs though a bit unorthodox,
maybe I could use a rugged pair of boots to help me climb these rocks.
Perhaps you have a special gift in there for me and my little girl to be close to family, as I await the mail each day, maybe Santa, you already see.
But Santa with those rosey cheeks, and grin full of joy, for my sweet child, the gift of laughters with cousins,
as she plays with a new toy.
Maybe a return of some compassions I give, perhaps just a little more heart, and while you're at it could you spread this love globally, so the world doesn't fall apart.
One more wish if one could be made real, let me put everything back together again, for a good future, let the wounds heal.

P.S. For a bit of humor, could you add to this list, grant to all of my friends both near and far all of the things that they have wished.

Yes April there IS a Santa Clause. Too bad your name isn't Virginia.
So sweet...loved the request for rugged boots to help climb the rocks...
If I could, I'd make sure you and your daughter had everything you need! Thanks for the friendship and support here at AC! Sweet words and I hope Santa will fill your request!
I absolutely love this, especially the P.S. You've outdone yourself once again. Extremely clever, heartfelt, and very loving.
