Have you ever wondered how non-profit hospitals get their funds? Many people have surgery every day. Were you ever worried that you may not make it out of a surgery alive? If so, you must read this book. Some people may not survive due to their wealth and the hospital wanting their money; or maybe you personally have a fantastic insurance policy upon your death.
Death Equity takes you on a rollercoaster of a tour of strange happenings in St. Vincent's Hospital. Supposedly, simple surgeries are performed and the unfortunate patient does not survive. Things that make you go "hmmmmm..."
A few of the employees of St. Vincent's Hospital get suspicious and start their own inside investigation. The employees are shocked at what they uncover. One of the employees turns to the big boss for answers. Was it a mistake that she revealed the information to him?
Death Equity is a book that you will not be able to turn the pages quick enough. Your mind is constantly trying to figure out what Kimberly Bridges is going to have happen next in the book. Every time I tried to figure out what was going to happen next, I was wrong! I thought I figured out the ending of the book and I was not even close.
A book such as Death Equity is one you will remember. The characters are so real you can "feel" them. The suspense will keep you on your toes. I do not want to reveal the ending of the book but it is fantastic.
Once you read the book, I am sure you will hope Death Equity will be made into a movie like I do. I can picture Jennifer Garner as one of the main characters, Ashley. Her investigating partner in crime, Gary, who is like a father and friend to her, I can see as being played by Jeff Daniels (Terms of Endearment). The hospital administrator I can see being played by Alec Baldwin. Although I do not see Kris Jenner as an actress in any movies, I would love to see the part of the head nurse played by Bruce Jenner's wife, Mrs. (Kardashian) Jenner. I can see her and Alec Baldwin in their steamy little affair together. The mayor I would love to see played by loveable yet wise guy Jack Nicholson. In my eyes, Christopher Walkin would make an excellent Dr. Galvin.
Find out if patients are worth more breathing or six feet under in Death Equity by Kimberly Bridges.
