Death to the Tic Tac

A Friends Breath Becomes a Painful Muse

TA James
Sweet mercy is within the depths of your small white body,

Yet the overwhelming scent of breath comes from within an unholy mouth,

Not a scent of pleasantness resembling mint or sweet inertia,

But the scent of hot garbage in the heat casting its green tinged hue

Oh my friendly Tic Tac what do I do,

When my friend has fallen out of love with Colgate and even you too

Should I gather a sling shot and fire your petite body from afar.

All the while praying that your kindness would fall into the throat of the beast to release your sweet soul

Should I wait 'til the beats hunger has been slaked and sleep eventually comes in puffs,

Then drop them slowly into a pit so hot and full of sulfur that not even a volcano's lava could compare.

Oh my sweet Tic Tac tell me what to do,

For I promise if the mouth of my dear one opens,

I shall turn an unpleasant shade of blue,

Laugh now sweet Tic Tac because soon you will see,

That so much like the decaying scent emitting from the mouth of a friend,

You will beg and plead,

For your release will never come,

You will melt slowly...deep within your sweet bones,

Much as my nose wishes to do when my dear one's speech has begun,

Not even Listerine could save you from a bitter end,

My dear sweet Tic Tac I wish that you could see,

But as you enter a place akin to a landfill,

You will meet a terrible and fruitless end,

My dear sweet Tic Tac soon your kin will take up your cause,

We can only pray that they will not be unsuccessfully lost
