I have disappeared without a trace,
A gentle whisper in your breath of lies,
Consumed by fire like a field set ablaze,
It is my tattered soul that finally dies.
A gentle whisper in your breath of lies,
Consumed by fire like a field set ablaze,
It is my tattered soul that finally dies.
I am impassive and no longer feel,
And found withered like an uprooted tree,
The destruction around me is all that is real,
You have snuffed out all my hopes and dreams.
The time for revelations has come and gone,
You have exposed your vicious thoughts,
They ripped right through me like a jagged prong,
And yet you feel content while my heart slowly rots.
The kindhearted love you and I once shared,
Died quietly in the darkness and no one cared.
