BET CEO and Chairman Join's Class of 2010
She makes her home in Washington, D.C. Ms. Lee is highly educated holding an undergraduate degree from Brown, a Master's and a Law degree from Harvard. One degree from an Ivy League school is quite impressive; to hold three degrees is quite remarkable. All four of those corporations are well known by name from photography, makeup, hotels and utilities.
If that was not enough Ms. Lee is also involved in numerous cultural, civic, professional, and charitable organizations. She serves on the Board of Directors for the National Cable & Telecommunications Association , Girls Inc, the National Symphony Orchestra, the Ad Council, the Grammy Foundation, and a member of the Board of Trustees for Brown University to name a few.
She has reached the heights few people achieve. It is made even more remarkable that Debra L. Lee has done this being a minority woman. She is an example of how people regardless of their sex or color of their skin can achieve incredible success. She states on a YouTube video one of the things she is most passionate about is empowering young girls and woman. Young woman who are interested achieving success in business have someone they can look up to in Debra L. Lee. Actually, anyone seeking success would be wise to take any advice she has to offer.
