December 1, 2008

Brighton Christmas Parade is in downtown Brighton and starts at 7pm.

Munford Christmas Parade in downtown Munford will start at 4:30pm. Participate in the "Toys for Tots" and "Fill the Sleigh" programs by bringing a toy.

Millington Christmas Parade starts at 3pm and will be rolling down Navy Road.

Arlington Christmas Parade starts at 4:30pm and they will light the Tree in Depot Square at the end of the parade.

Breakfast with Santa at the Zoo is from 8am-9am and is $15 per person. Call ahead for tickets at the Zoo.

Cannon Center for the Performing Arts presents "Home for the Holidays". Starts at 8pm. Conducted by Jason Howard with a sing-along for the holidays.

The Zoo will be having their Junior Zoo Crew from 10am to 1pm. They will show you what it is like to work at the zoo and you will learn information about the animals. Call ahead for more details.

Christmas in Collierville is on December 6th. You can take a carriage ride, listen to the live music, and shop at all of the shops in the park. There are activities for the children to enjoy.

Germantown Performing Arts Centre offers "Peanut Butter & Jam Sessions" at 9:30am & 10:30am for children ages 3 - 8. It is a great music appreciation program for kids to learn about new instruments.

New Year's Eve Snooze starts at 6:30pm and ends at 10am the next morning. Let your child stay at the zoo overnight and get involved in crafts, see animals close up, go on a moonlight safari, and get a behind-the-scenes look at the nutrition center. There will be food and a countdown to midnight.
