December 2012: The Great Transition

The year 2012 and specifically the month of December of that year is a profound date held by ancient pronouncements of future world events. According to cultures such as the Maya and the Chinese the month of December in the year 2012 is the time set that the end of the world is forecast to come and even modern astronomers have suggested by conducting scientific calculations that in this very same year a unique condition will occur where all of the planets of this solar system will be aligned with the Sun. Forecasts of doom come and go but the fact that the year 2012 and the specific month of December of that year has been stipulated as the year that the world will end by separate cultures during different generations suggests that this year may indeed be the one in which the world comes to its conclusion.

When people hear forecasts concerning the end of the world they in general assume this to mean the end of the earth but this is a false assumption and certainly one pertaining to the above mentioned revelations where the end of the world specifically means the end of a human devised governmental, social and economic system. The alignment of the planets in this solar system to their Sun is quite different in nature than a transition in the social order in that it is believed that this will cause new and untold gravitational stresses on the planets and for humans the chief concern is what affect these gravitational forces will have on the planet earth. If the nature of the planet earth changes this will indeed produce the end of the world as humans now know it and that change will happen either slowly or very quickly as proposed by various scientific quarters. The end of the world is both future and past-tense as surmised by other examples of human beings experiencing the end of the world such as the transition from the stone age to the bronze age and the bronze age to the iron and the iron age to the information age and this is what cultures such as the Maya basically mean in their forecast of the end of the world.

Universal transition does not come about smoothly and as with the previous worlds when they ended whole civilizations, cultures and even people became extinct and so it will be in the month of December of the year 2012 as the current world order is transformed, however this changeover will be like none of the others because of the global interconnectivity of the human system and the overall technical advancements that will thrust localized panic across continents and borders. Humans will mistakenly see this world transition as being the long prophesized end of the world and equate it as being the end of the human species and the end of all life on the planet earth and under this dread of immediate end every value that is now keeping the full measure of human depravity restrained will be let loose throughout every mind and every mind will unleash every sort of vileness and hatred that the mortal can imagine as there now seems no more need to keep these traits subdued.

The conditions that will bring about the conclusion of this current world system in the month of December of the year 2012 are not specified by either the Maya or by any other source that has proclaimed this date as the time period when the current world order will irrevocably collapse and nor if there is to be an increasing buildup of destructive triggers occurring in the years prior to December 2012 or that the world will simply come to an end suddenly at that specific time interval, nevertheless this is the date that is assigned to the end of the world by unrelated cultures during different historical time spans. If the predictions of the modern scientists are correct then in the latter part of the year 2012 this solar system will be at or near the center of the Milky Way galaxy and that when this solar system is in this position all of the planets of this solar system will align with the Sun. These same scientists further theorize that when this solar system enters this mid galactic position and the planets of this system aligns themselves with the Sun that extreme gravitational forces will be exerted upon these heavenly bodies the likes of which are beyond current methods of accurate calculations.

Some modern scientists believe that these extreme forces pulling and tugging on the planet earth will cause it to tilt either slightly or radically on its axis and that with either orbital fluctuation the surface of the earth will reorient itself in accordance with the new configuration of its semi-solid mantel and molten core and this will result in great ecological changes in climate and the realignment of land mass orientations in relationship to the earth's equator. Needless to say the affect that this tilt will have on earth life will be drastic and profound and with this one occurrence that is natural in origin the earth and its world as they have stood for the past thousands of years will be at an end and many now living earth species will cease to exist. This is all modern scientific speculations that may ultimately come to naught as the earth year 2012 rolls over into the earth year 2013 without a celestial shutter nor a terrestrial burp.

Whether or not world-changing events will happen in the year 2012 in the month of December of that year specifically is an open question but if the exact date may be grounds for ponder it is a certainty without question that some day this present world will come to an end. Humanity has thus far progressed, or digressed depending upon ones point of view, from the stone age to the current information age so a new age to replace this present one can be logically expected to come. The information age has only whimsically skimmed the very outer crust of celestial knowledge and is still very much clung within the grips of primitive barbarism like predawn primordial ooze bubbling like sludge onto the planet earth's surface and with humanity being as such and showing no signs of intellectual improvements it is very appropriate that the climax of this world should indeed come in the month of December of the year 2012 as forecasted and if not by earth history cyclic accord then by vigorous prompts induced by the primordial ooze that is ripping apart the planet earth's atmosphere and surface.
