December Nights

I really love this time of year,
It's lots of fun with lots of cheer.
The decorations all aglow,
Make us feel so good, you know.

Shopping for gifts for those we love,
Snow starts falling from above.
Wrapping presents beneath the tree,
Bringing joy to you and me.

Baking cookies, so delicious,
Having the feast of the seven fishes.
Christmas breakfast oh so good,
Fireplaces with lots of wood.

We should stop and then remember,
Why there is a 25th of December.
Christ was born to save us all,
And will never ever let us fall.
