Deciding on Liposuction in Delaware County

A Practice that Takes Care of Your Needs

Among all the other plastic surgeries David Bottger performs, there is Liposuction. He has not just one way to go about it either. He has a few different approaches and tailors the Liposuction to the person. Areas the doctor will perform Liposuction is abdomen, thighs, hips, back, neck, arms, calves and ankles.

Tumescent Liposuction is known as the number one preferred Liposuction technique. One of the reasons is because it can be done with local anesthesia. The other reason is there is a minimal of blood loss. Both are extremely important. Under General anesthesia, there are far more risks due to the drugs used in it. The incisions made for this type of Liposuction are extremely small, that's why there's far less blood loss. These tiny incisions require a couple stitches at most. Typically, no stitches are needed at all. The other plus is fantastic. Recovery time is 24-48 hours! Because the tubing used in this method is so small there is very little trauma. Because of that, patients undergoing this type of Liposuction can walk out of the office unassisted. This method also makes it easier for Dr. David Bottger to be more precise in his actions.

Ultrasound assisted Liposuction is typically used in hard to treat areas. These include chin, neck, cheeks, knees, calves, and ankles. The way it works is, the sound waves are used to essentially turn the fat into liquid before traditional Liposuction, removal of the fat is used. The great thing about this method is that it typically also tightens the skin as well. The problem? Because of the amount of heat used during this, there is a higher risk of burns and scarring.

This newer Liposuction technique is said to be favored particularly in Los Angeles. Doctors there have claimed that it leads to permanent removal of fat and contours the body well. In a research study led by Dr. Stokes performed with 400 patients, they found that there was half the rate of complications in the patients who had the PAL, or Power Assisted Liposuction than that of UAL patients.

The way this type of Liposuction works, is by making the tip of the suction tube work at a much higher speed. This then makes the suction easier. The patient typically has local sedation, saline and adrenaline, which is supposed to help speed the removal.

In order to get a cost of any of his procedures, you need to make an initial consultation. However, since the cost of Liposuction is typically a little pricey, there are financing plans available. These plans for financing the cost of Liposuction include Reliance Finance Company, Care Credit and a loan company.

Just as a side note, many years ago I had a lump on my breast, and no health insurance. This doctor was working at the clinic I went to and was the most gentle caring doctor I've met. Typically when a doctor hears no insurance-that's it. He was more than happy to tell me that he felt this was serious enough to be looked at and taken care of right away. Luckily it was fine, but the point is, I had no insurance and no money and he was willing to help me.

The main address and Phone for this doctor is:

3855 West Chester Pike, Suite 230
Newtown Square, PA 19073
(800) 601-2817

But there are numerous offices, including Delaware County. David Bottger, MD's site can explain even more if you need it.

I would love to have the money for this. It'd save me so much walking! :D If it tightens the skin as well than it sounds better than walking.
