Do your best man it's all you can do.
Things don't work out as well as they do for you.
It's easier said than done is taken to the heart.
Guess this is the best place to give this story a start.
I've walked the world dropping bombs and playing a part
I've walked the alley's in the city home in a shopping cart
I've walked the walls in the prison the Orwellian counterpart.
I've walked the world, yaaaaah we're all just playing a part.
I searched around for a something wonder what it could be.
Well that all eyes upon me, one day they would see.
That I could go beyond, success is not easy, success not to be.
I searched around for a something wonder what it could be.
The cards all put together make one win or lose.
Among the breathers and the fiddles and the god almighty booze.
Dead down on the floor, ass kicked out the doooooooooooooooooor...
It's in the cards we choose...whether we win or lose...can't blame it on the booze...
may get you on the news...either way you lose...dazed and confused....hardly amused...
wadded up an used. Smashed on the news....like a Ripper on the booze....Jacks on a vicious cruise...One wins and another will lose...
Where's the choice in that?
We can't choose the cards we are dealt? Sure we can, just as the cards are symbolic within the life experience, there is a symbolic similarity with the cards representative of decisions and circumstances. Knowing the right people, a decision to move in the past undone, turns into finding another path altogether another rock road to run. We rationally understand that if we could go back we would change things. We can also rationalize that these changes could potentially impact the now. Our wives, our husbands, our kid's, our family in general. Would they still be ours? Would they still be around or would the change erase them from our "new now" and leave us where?
These rationalities lead most of us to conclude that we would not change a thing about the past. Some things simply work out the way they do and all that is left is to continue to at least try. Never give up and always think about the fact that others are in a worse position than you are. The solace is in knowing that they, just like you, will rise up and go at it once again.

"The cards all put together make one win or lose."- Really enjoyed this, also I agree with David Reinstein.
Good sentiment! Never give up indeed.
Would make a fine song!
