Decorate Your Bathroom for Thanksgiving

Holding a Thanksgiving gathering? When you host the Thanksgiving dinner at your home you want everything to look nice, the kitchen, the dinning room, the living room. Did you remember the bathroom? Guests will be using your bathroom if you are hosting Thanksgiving dinner, so you need to decorate and make it presentable as well.

MAKE IT PRESENTABLE: First of all make sure that your bathroom is clean. You will need to sweep the floor, clean the toilet, mop if necessary, and clean the sink and vanity. Make sure your mirror is clean also, since that is the first thing most people look at in a bathroom. Be sure that you clean the corners of spider webs and close the shower curtain or door if it is a full bathroom. Clean the shower as well, if it needs it, some people are snoopy.

THANKSGIVING DECORATIONS: Now you can start deciding how to decorate. You could also set fall colored soaps out on a soap dish for people to wash their hands with. Set a pumpkin on the counter for even more Thanksgiving decor. Place a small ceramic turkey on the counter or on the bathroom floor if you use a larger one. Use a small 5 or 6 bottle wine rack and fill it with rolled up Thanksgiving colored towels. Use brown, orange, and tan towels to fill the wine rack. Fill a glass vase with small pumpkins and gourds to set on the bathroom floor or vanity if there is room.

THANKSGIVING LINENS: Hang a Thanksgiving towel for people to dry their hands with. You could even hang Thanksgiving curtains up to the window or a Thanksgiving shower curtain up to the shower if you really want to set the Thanksgiving decor. Throw out some fall colored area rugs in front of the vanity and toilet. Do not leave summer rugs out, they will ruin the look of the Thanksgiving bathroom theme. Hang some faux fall leaves from your curtain rod or shower rod to add to the Thanksgiving colors.

THANKSGIVING SCENTS: Set a can of fall scented deodorizer on the vanity for people to use, if needed. Get a pumpkin or pine scent to go along with you Thanksgiving bathroom theme. You could set a basket full of pine cones and potpourri out on the vanity for display and scent. Set a fall scented candle on the vanity and light it when guests show up.
