Decorate Your Chandelier for Christmas

Decorating your chandelier over your dinning room table is a good idea to bring a festive feel to your holiday dinner. There are many ways that you could decorate your chandelier for Christmas, but the decoration should match your chandelier. For instance, if you have a modern chandelier, then you should decorate it in a modern fashion. Here is a modern idea to use to decorate your chandelier for Christmas.

You will need a few items to make a garland for your chandelier. You will need glittered holly, a hot-glue gun, glass ball ornaments, and beaded strands. The color of the beaded strands should match the color of your glittered holly and glass ball ornaments. For instance, if you decide to use green, then everything should be a nice Christmas green color.

To get started you will cut a large enough piece of the beaded garland to be able to drape it all the way around your chandelier. Next, you will cut a few smaller pieces of the beaded garland, about 2 1/2 inches long. These will be glued evenly all the way around the large piece of beaded garland. You want enough to fit in between the arms of your chandelier, this way they will hang down between each arm on your chandelier. Next glue a glass ball ornament to the end of each of your 2 1/2 inch pieces of beaded garland.

Finally, to finish this beautiful garland for your chandelier, you will simply drape it over the arms of your chandelier, letting each ball hang down in between the arms of the chandelier, by simply draping the garland. Once you have it all draped on the chandelier properly, you can glue the two ends of the long piece of beaded garland together, so that it will stay on your chandelier and not fall.

You can then decorate around the lights with the glittered holly if you would like, or put a little of it on the center of the chandelier. Just make sure that it won't get too hot from the lights.
