Once you have the tree at home make sure the tree is in a proper stand and placed secured in the area pick.

When placing lights on the tree you will need to start on the top of the tree and work down. Place each bulb on the limb. The size of the tree and how many lights, a person would like, will determine the amount of lights to purchase.

The ornaments can be bought in local store to crafting handmade ornaments to fit the theme a person is trying to express. Place ornaments on wire hangers; some will come with their own hanging device. Place the ornaments on the limbs inside the tree to the outside starting with the top and work down.

The top of the tree will hold the special tree topper that was specially picked out for the holiday tree. Place on top of the tree securely and plug in if needed. Remember when shopping for the tree toppers do not purchase one to heavy this will depend on the height of the tree and the top branch.

Last the tree skirt can be laid on the bottom of the tree. The skirt should touch the top of the tree stand covering all around the stand.
