YOU WILL NEED:
First you will need a white table skirt for a rectangle shaped table. Make sure that the table skirt is big enough to go around the front and the two ends of your rectangular wedding party table. Next you will need two colors of tulle that match your wedding colors. For instance, if your wedding colors are red and black, then you should get red and black tulle. Also get some large rubber bands, and some white ribbon to tie bows onto the tulle. Finally you will need clear packaging tape, to make sure that everything stays securly in place on your wedding party table.
DECORATE YOUR WEDDING PARTY TABLE:
Now to decorate your table, you will first hang your white table skirt on the rectangular wedding party table. The white table skirt should have adhesive around the inside top edge of it, to make it easier to hang on the table. Once you have hung the table skirt by the adhesive strip, then you should go back around and tape it again with your packaging tape, wherever you will be adding the tulle. This will give you double security to make sure that it stays attached to the table and doesn't fall half way through the reception.
Next, you will need to cut the tulle. Cut the tulle so that it is as long as the table is tall. For instance, if the table sets 4 feet from the top to the floor, then your tulle pieces should be cut 4 feet long. Next, you need to gather the pieces of tulle about 2 or 3 inches from the top and wrap a rubber band around the gathered tulle. Then tie a piece of your white ribbon into a neat looking bow over top of the rubber band so that it cannot be seen.
Finally, you can hang your gathered pieces of tulle on the rectangular wedding party table. Simply use one color and then the other color hanging them about 6 inches to 1 foot apart from each other around the front and ends of the table. For instance, if you are using red and black tulle, hang one red and then another 6 inches away or so hang a black piece and tulle and then another red and so on.
This will make your wedding table look fancier without adding much cost.
