Decorate with Used Calendar Pictures

When buying a calendar a lot of people check out the pictures. Usually they pick the calendar that has pictures that they like. There are so many different pictures on a calendar to choose from. There are lighthouses, cats, dogs, old model cars, flowers, beach scenes, teddy bears, ocean scenes, or even rooms in a house. So many that all of them can't be named. But when the year is over most people just tossed them in the garbage. But just remember they can be used other ways. So when picking the calendar for the new year, think of a room that you may want to hang new pictures. There are so many different pictures that they could be placed in any room of the house, even to the bathroom.

Here are some examples of which rooms of the home the pictures can be decorated and how. Many bathrooms are decorated in ocean type décor, such as seashells and/or sailboats. So they may want to look for a calendar that has a picture that would go with that décor. Kitchens are often times decorated with fruit, for example apples, maybe cows or roosters. Therefore they would check for pictures in the calendar that would match with this decor.

The pictures can be cut from old calendars, then laminated. When laminated this will help keep them from sticking to the glass or fading. After the calendar pictures are lose then laminated they can be placed in a frame. Or two holes can be punched with a hole puncher in the top of the picture, with ribbons placed through the holes then tied in a bow. Now they can be hung on the wall or from the ceiling. Children like the pictures with the ribbons to hang from their ceiling. But when you hang them from the ceiling a piece of construction paper or another picture will need to be placed on the back before laminated since they will turn in the air then the back will be seen. Also when they are placed in a frame, border can be added to make a more expensive look. The pictures can also be cut down to make a smaller picture if being placed in a smaller area like a bathroom or hall. Even when cut down borders can still be added. When placed in the frame with border, it then looks expensive, also as though it was framed by a professional and may have been.

It would be surprising at the pictures hanging in Doctor's, dentist, even a Lawyer's office that was recycled from an old calendar. Since a lot of these hire someone to come in the office to switch the pictures out from time to time. The used calendar pictures are very pretty. These pictures make a nice gift for any occasion. So buying a calendar with pictures that are look though can be money well spent.
