Bloody Door Cover
Put a bloody door cover on the front door and any other door in your home that needs a warning for Halloween. The translucent plastic sheet provides the effect of bloody hand prints on the door; hold it up with a few pieces of clear tape.
Body Parts
A bloody scene theme for Halloween isn't complete without using fake body parts to decorate the home. Consider using a large array of body parts including an eyes sack, grotesque organs, severed fingers and chopped off heads. Put the head on the front porch to welcome visitors, hang some of the limbs around the home and decorate the appetizer plates with severed fingers. You may also want to take a bloody fake eyeball or two and use them to decorate a random place like the bathroom floor.
Bloody Effects
For Halloween, decorate the front window of your home with a pair of bloody handprints. Put 3D bloody drips around the home in various places such as on the edge of a table, hanging off a sink, in front of the house and hanging from a kitchen cabinet. Use fake blood on the serving trays that sit under food bowls and decorate mirrors with smears of fake blood.
Bloody Shower Curtain and Bath Mat
For your bloody scene theme, you can purchase the shower curtain and bath mat or make them yourself. To decorate it yourself, buy a cheap shower curtain and, using washable red paint, put a set of handprints and a few streaks on it. To decorate the bath mat, use the paint to make bloody footprints or just make large drops of blood. You may be able to buy these items at your local dollar store. Try to do these projects outside as they can be messy; give them plenty of time to dry before use. You may also want to streak fake blood on the tub and tile but don't get it in the grout. Test a small portion first to make sure it won't stain.
Bloody Tablecloth
Another item that you can purchase or decorate yourself for your Halloween theme, a bloody tablecloth adds a gory touch to your tables. To decorate it, use washable red paint to make streaks all over it. Make sure to also put drips down the sides. It is best to do this project outside to avoid getting paint on the floor; give it time to dry before use.
Costume
What would the Halloween scene be without the murderer in attendance? To coincide with the theme, wear a bloody costume complete with a fake but realistic blood covered knife. If you would rather not purchase the costume, use an outfit you already have that you are willing to dispose of after use. Splatter the fake blood all over it and let it dry thoroughly before wearing.
Along with the gruesome decorations, you can also decorate with gross looking foods for Halloween. With a little planning, a lot of fake blood and prop body parts it will be a bloody scene theme worthy of a memorable Halloween celebration.

Please Note: The bloody scene theme may be better for an adult party or household as some kids may not only be frightened by the decorations but may also try to ingest some of them if they are young enough. Some pets may also find the decorations appealing so it is vital to take them into consideration while decorating.
