The door- This will be the first place people see when they pull up to your townhouse. You might think that there is not much to decorate or do here, but you are wrong. Of course you can stick a reef on the door. Put lights around the edges of the door. How about a nice Christmas door mat that welcomes people into your home.? If you have the room you might even include some sort of statue or figurine. There is lots you can do around your door during Christmas time.
The kitchen- You know people will want to eat when they come by to visit. Why not let them walk into a fabulously decorated kitchen. There are lots of Christmas rugs you can by to decorate the floor. Christmas lights work well in the kitchen too. Even your refrigerator can be decorated. Use Christmas stickers and Magnets to make your refrigerator look great. Every time someone goes into the fridge they will be reminded of the holiday season.
The stairway- If you have a stairway you've got to decorate it. Garland always looks nice flowing up the stair case. Don't forget to include lights as well. You might even put the lights or the garland on the steps themselves. You will feel the Christmas spirit with every step you take.
Entertainment area- Don't overlook this area of your apartment. There are lots of things you can place on or around your entertainment area to make it look beautiful. Christmas villages or towns make great decorations if you have room. Pick out some nice figurine that lights up and moves. Beautify the entertainment area with whatever you want, just make sure to use something. Don't let this area go unnoticed.
bushes or trees in front of apartment- You might think that since you are in an apartment that there is no reason to decorate bushes or trees in front of your door. This however is a great place to put Christmas lights, signs or even statues if you have room for them. Again people will see your Christmas spirit as soon as they pull up.
Don't make the mistake of assuming that an apartment is too small to decorate. There are lots of great ways to bring your place alive for the holiday. Considering there may not be many people in your area decorating at all, you will probably be the talk of the neighborhood!
