I have taken the blows
I have given them back
Days have been long
Nights have been longer
The cold wind has blown
It has chilled me to the bone
I have seen these days come
And I have seen these days go
I've taken a beating
And I've mended my wounds
Days still come
When you think you will win
I have to face myself
In that mirror again
You may take me down
But you will not take me out
I am strong
I am here
I am alive
I deserve to be happy
You will not win!
