Ingredients

Serves 18
1 Cup Sugar
3 Cups All-Purpose Flour
1/4 tsp. Baking Soda
1 tbsp. Baking Powder
1 Egg (beaten)
1 2/3 Cup Milk
1/2 tsp. Salt
2 tsp. Orange Peel (finely shredded)
1/4 Cup Cooking Oil
3/4 Cup Chopped Nuts
1 Cup Cranberries (chopped)

Directions for Delicious Cranberry Nut Bread

Preheat
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Mix
In a large bowl, mix together the sugar, flour, baking powder, baking soda, orange peel, and salt.

Mixing Separately
In a SEPARATE bowl, add the beaten egg, cooking oil, and milk. Hand stir them all together until blended.

Combine
Add your "egg mixture" into the first bowl with flour and mix the contents together until well blended.

Add the cranberries and nuts into the mixture and stir well until the berries/nuts are evenly distributed throughout the mixture.

Pour
Pour your mixed batter into a greased (or use baking spray) 9x5x3" loaf pan -or- two 7 1/2 x 3 1/2 x 2" loaf pans.

Bake
Place into the oven and bake for 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes for the single pan. Bake for 40-45 minutes for the two smaller pans. (use a toothpick in the center to determine if done - the toothpick should come out clean)

Cool
Cool while still in the pan for about 10 minutes. Remove from the pan and cool completely on a wire rack or other base that allows ventillation.

Wrap
Wrap the loaf in saran wrap and store overnight before slicing.
