The Twisted Root Beer Company is snugly located in the Deep Ellum district on Commerce St. near Angry Dog and Antone's. If you're looking for a delicious burger, sweet potato chips, homemade root beer, and an entertaining atmosphere, check out this place. They have various types of burgers you can choose from including 100% beef, turkey, ostrich, and buffalo. The veggie burgers are also fantastic. When you place your order at the front counter (be sure to know what you want before you get up there!) instead of giving you a number, you get a well-known character name for your order. Once your food is done, there is an announcer who calls you over their loudspeaker. So you're constantly hearing funny monikers such as Charro! Yogi the Bear! Dirk Diggler! Yoda! Come for the food and stay for the fun.
