A Perfect Pumpkin Cookie with Cream Cheese Icing Recipe for Halloween

This Halloween try this moist and delicious pumpkin cookie for all your Halloween Party and treat needs. This pumpkin cookie always gets lots of requests for the recipe!

Halloween Pumpkin Cookie Recipe:
2-1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp baking soda

1 ½ tsp ground cinnamon

½ tsp ground nutmeg

½ tsp ground cloves

¼ tsp ground ginger

½ tsp salt

½ cup butter, softened

1 cup white sugar

½ cup brown sugar

1 cup pumpkin puree

1 egg

1 tsp vanilla extract

Halloween Pumpkin Cookie Icing recipe:

1 cups confectioner sugar

1.5 tbsp milk

½ tbsp butter (melted)

½ tsp vanilla extract

Cinnamon

Directions for Halloween Pumpkin Cookie recipe:

Oven 350 degrees F

Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, ground cloves, ground ginger and salt in a medium bowl and set aside.

In medium bowl, cream the 1/2 cup softened butter and white and brown sugar together. Add the pumpkin, egg and 1 tsp of vanilla extract, use a mixer and beat until mixture is creamy. Mix in the flour mixture.

Drop the mixture onto the cookie sheet with a tablespoon and slightly flighten.

Bake for 15 minutes in the preheated oven, and let cool

Drizzle the icing on the cookies and dust with cinnamon.

To make drizzle, combine confectioners sugar, milk, 1/2 tbsp butter (melted) and ½ tsp vanilla.

Makes 50 Halloween Pumpkin Cookies

*Do not store these Halloween Pumpkin cookies in air-tight container
