Delightful Sensation

Darla M. Beck
The dew has fallen onto the roses.

The tiny drops shimmer in the sun.

They lie on the smooth soft petals,

like a beacon in the morning light.

I gently pluck one single red rose,

and press its moist tip to my lips.

It feels like delicate little kisses,

are being bestowed upon my mouth.

It is the most delightful sensation.
