Deliverance from Homosexuality

Sexual immorality is adultery, fornication, prostitution, criminal sexual conduct, rape, pedophilia, masturbation, incest, sex with animals, swingers, ménage a trios, homosexuality, or any sexual conduct that is indecent and contrary to what our God says is moral. God created sexual intimacy for a husband and wife, this is moral. So how can man, including the government, disobey God's commands and legalize sin? Many claim homosexuality is a birth defect. That would infer that God created you sinfully gay and He didn't. We were born into a sinful world, but not born a sinful person; sin is learned behavior, so homosexuality is a choice. I'm not suggesting that your feelings aren't authentic; however, the fruits of the spirit help you practice and maintain self-control. Sin is sin; the desire is not greater or worse because one craves the same sex opposed to one who craves striking their boss. Some believe that homosexuality is hard to control because it's emotional. All sin is emotional be it mental or physical assaults, happy, sad, angry, or mad, before we commit sin we felt that desire as the Word teaches us.

Many feel God is insensitive because He opposes same sex relationships. The world must remember that God created man and woman to reproduce the human race and other spiritually relevant grounds. When we challenge our God, there are consequences and repercussions such as AIDS, and other STD's that are pandemic today because of sexual immorality. I believe that homosexuals should be treated with the same respect as other civilians. We are to love every one despite of their choices just as God continues to love us. I strongly oppose gay marriages and unions because God says it's wrong and when you rise above God your only reward is hell. Overcoming homosexuality or any sin is not easy. Only God can deliver you with prayer, abstinence from the immoral act, and yes, self-control. You may have a desire, but you must fight the temptation and believe it is sinful because God says so. The devil knows our weaknesses, so put on the full armor of God to stand strong against sin.
