Dementium II is the first game that I have ever place with a mature rating for the Nintendo DS and if you play you will understand that the shooting, killing and blood soaked walls will scare the life out of any kid. The game is basically a shooting advantage in which you play an inmate trapped in a ward. There are dead bodies walking around and zombies that you will need to kill in order to try to escape from the ward. What makes this game unique is that it includes puzzles within the game that require you to find keycards are open doors. In order to do this you will have to complete tasks such as playing the word dead on the in-game piano in order to get the key card. You will then use that key card to open the door and get to the next level.
There are about 15 chapters in total and in order to complete all of them you will need to be a great shot in addition to solving mysterious aspects of the game (such as the piano puzzle). What I love about this game is it creates the experience you are trapped in a prison but I don't like that the camera is sensitive and moves easily because this can make you sick if you are sensitive to motion. I paid $32.48 with tax and I believe anyone who likes the games Doom or Resident Evil will enjoy this game. The weapons include a flashlight, a shotgun and stick that you will need to use if you want to complete each stage. This is a great horror game for the Nintendo DS and it is well worth the money if you are looking for a mature horror and shooting game. My opinions on this game and a result of owning the game. However, if you would like to learn more about the game you can do so here.
