Demi Lovato Video: Snorting Cocaine?

Say it Ain't So!

Magnolia Miller
Disney pop-princess, Demi Lovato, has had her share of knocks lately. She abruptly left a tour with the Jonas Brothers last week and entered rehab
to deal with what was described as "emotional and psychological issues."

Since then, it has come out that Demi Lovato has had eating disorder issues and has engaged in the creepy and self-destructive act of cutting. Demi's estranged father has spoken out about his daughter saying that the pressures of Hollywood have gotten to her.

And still others have said that Demi, like so many kids, unfortunately, endured a childhood of teasing and bullying which contributed to her body image issues and the cutting.

Unfortunately, not a day has gone by since Demi Lovato entered rehab that something hasn't been said about her and her condition. And today is no different.

Radar Online is reporting that there is video floating around of Demi Lovato snorting cocaine at a party in Texas when she was 17.

Those who have seen the supposed video say Demi was screaming profanities into the camera, "acting like a slut" (whatever that means) and declaring she is "famous and doesn't care what anybody thinks."

Demi Lovato Could Lose Disney Show

I would wager a guess, however, that at this juncture, Demi Lovato most certainly does care about what others think and if this video is in existence would like very much for it to go away. I would also expect that Disney is not too happy with this possibility either.

In fact, TMZ is reporting that Disney is already considering a "plan B" in light of Demi's issues. Translation: She might lose her television show "Sonny with a Chance."

To date, the video rumors are just that - rumors. However, it seems to me that if the video is in fact in existence and Demi Lovato was filmed snorting cocaine, considering the time frame of the incident and where she is today (in rehab), none of it is that shocking.

Demi Lovato is now where she needs to be, getting the help she needs and as such, one could conclude that the video is nothing more than further proof the girl needed help. Hopefully, she'll get it. Let's also hope when she comes out of rehab that she finds better "friends."

I'm sure that as a young celebrity she's been exposed to drugs a few times, as they all are. Hope she doesn't lose her show if it ends up being true.... she seems like a nice girl.

    Fame is definitely an illness.
