Democrat? Boycott Companies that Support Republicans

AT& T, Ford, Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley, PriceWaterHouseCoopers, McDonald's, Toyota, Dell, Coors

Now is the time to take action. Boycott companies that make huge donations to the Republicans. Do not let your hard earned money be used by companies to support causes that oppose your beliefs.

Be an informed consumer and voter. Make your dollar work for causes you believe in and spread the word about companies to boycott. Encourage everyone you know to boycott companies that support Republican campaigns.

Boycott AT & T. This company makes huge donations to Republicans. Also Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam had anti-Bush comments deleted from a film AT & T was making of his performance. He said " George Bush, leave this world alone. George Bush, find yourself another home."

The top 3 Donors to Bush were: PriceWaterHouseCoopers, Merrill Lynch, and Morgan Stanley. Boycott them!
Other donors to the Republicans include:

Halliburton, Costco, Wal-Mart, UPS, Fed Ex, Baxter Healthcare,

Conagra Foods (which produces: Armour, Blue Bonnet, Butter Ball, Chun King, Healthy Choice, Manwich, Peter Pan, Swiss Miss, and Van Camp's).

Safeway, Exxon, McDonald's, Flowers Industries, Wendy's, Caterpillar, Hallmark, Kmart, Sears Roebuck, JC Penney, and Marriott.

Dell, Coors, Toyota, Ford, Outback Steakhouse, Pilgrim's Pride, Owens Corning, 3 M, Delta, Circuit City, MCI/World Com

Make lists of local companies that support Republican candidates and boycott them. I know I will never buy my local paper again after they called the recent sweep by Republicans in the elections a "sweet night." The NY Post is also a big supporter of the Republicans.

So make a promise to boycott Republican led companies. Don't work at one either. Leave and create a "brain drain" mass exodus if you find out your company owner is a Republican. Don't use your intellect all day to generate profits for a company that will donate that money to the Republicans. Get a new job ASAP if your company supports Republicans. Encourage your company to donate money to causes you believe in. If they don't have it already encourage the creation of a Donation Matching program.

Business and politics are very closely intertwined in America. Many of us are not as aware of this as we need to be. Upon researching this topic I discovered a few items I use frequently are created by companies that donate to Republicans. I won't be using them anymore.

You people are nitwits if you do not think those companies give money to BOTH sides.
What you really do is SCREW the workers of these companies More than anyone else.
Simple Economics- you do not but, employees are the first to go.
Another fine dumbocrat Job Killing Action!

Thanks for the heads up. I am not a Democrat, but the Republican party stands for nothing but cutting taxes on corporations and the ultra rich. Unless you are Rupert Murdoch, you are doing yourself a dis-service if you think buying from Republican-donating co's will help your own efforts. Companies like Walmart and McDonald's have proven that the more we shop there the more our wages go down, our communities erode, and unions are broken or non-existent. Unions, for lack of a better system, protect jobs, wages, pensions, and benefits.
These companies could care less about these things. And thus could care less about my family and their well being. Think about it. Go Independent if you can't be a Democrat, but don't keep giving up your own rights.

Thanks, Now I know where to shop. I would rather $100,000,000 go to someone with sense than $1 go to the Dems!!

Thanks now I know what companies I will do business with.....the ones that DO contribute to the republican party!!!

Check your facts on Costco. Costco is a HUGE DEMOCRATIC supporter. Most companies give to both parties; they give almost all of their money to the Dems; very little to repubs.

Hmm funny what tennessee vols. says he works for a living, as if democrats do not... Gawd some of these right wing conspirators are so FRICKEN dumb. Hello! Knock knock knock....earth to conservatoids. Why dont you check out where most of the tax dollars base comes from for the whole country. DO some research and you will find that "liberal" states pay most of the taxes, so not sure where these people that your assuming "don't work for a living" come from..

this information was very useful for a school project and it shows you were your money goes to

I appreciate information like this. I think it is very important to know what ultimately happens to the dollars you spend: do they go toward helping the world? or do they end up in some fat cat's mega checking account? Our choices make a difference every day!

Funny how so many people don't think about these sorta things. American consumers have a lot more power than they realize.

I came, I read, and I sort of disagreed. I don't think either party is blameless for the mess this country is in. I don't support either of them.
