Is this the kind of violence that Nancy Pelosi was speaking of as she wept at the podium a few months back, accusing the Tea Party movement of provoking and inciting violence? The kind that was so horrific she could hardly get the words out?
I know politics is a rough and tumble sport, but it's rather scary when a person on the street can't speak to an elected official without getting snatched by the scruff of the neck and manhandled. But, that's exactly what happened when a Washington, D.C. student approached North Carolina Democratic Congressman Bob Etheridge recently.
When asked if he supported the Obama agenda, Congressman Etheridge went off on the student like Will.I.Am on Perez Hilton outside of a club.
As Congressman Etheridge jerked the student back and forth across the sidewalk, he demanded to know who he was. "Who are you?" "Who are you?" The congressman kept asking as he slapped the student around.
Gee, I don't know, Congressman Etheridge, but the last time I checked, um, your boss? Here's the video. What do you think?

Post a CommentWhere are our childern example's ? It is sad to read what behavior to some seems acceptable!
Agreed, Visa. There was no excuse for his behavior. If we lived in any other time though, we wouldn't have known about it. So, one good thing about our instant-access technology is that we can now see what they say and do. If this had happened 25 or 30 years ago, he would have done it and very few people would have known about it. The times they have changed.
I would have beat the hell out of him if he did that to me. He was no victim. The kid was asking him a question. What was wrong with just answerig it or walking away.the kid did not showany violence no threatenedin any way. You damn politicians should be fired.
I just heard a report that all of the media outlets except Fox are using it as an opportunity to attack the kids. But, the video says it all. they can try to spin it all they want, but if the Congressman was the victim, he shouldn't have apologized. But he did. He knew his actions were wrong. The tape doesn't lie.
MSNBC portrayed this in the most ridiculous, biased manner, using the word 'ambush' to describe the student for asking him about his support of the Obama agenda. What a damn joke. By the end of the 30-second clip, Etheridge is made to be a victim even though the kid was not at all hostile or out of line. Another excellent example of why we just can't trust anything coming from the fascist mainstream media and their 1-world government allies.
Yeah, it's criminal, Malina, AND it went viral today. Yikes. This is not the culture to do that in. Everybody around the world has seen it now.
This is criminal!
