Democrats Petition Against Barack Obama

In a Game of Would You Rather

Rena Silverman
An Internet petition titled, "Democrats Who Will Not Vote for Obama" is circling the web, designed to draft Democrats into an army of signatures and a refusal to vote for their own presumptive Democratic nominee, Barack Obama.

"We, the Democrats of the USA, refuse to vote for Barack Obama, if he is the Democratic nominee for President of the United States, because of the mainstream medias' failure to make public the following failures and inconsistencies of Barack Obama," the opening lines say.

The petition, which is sponsored by the Democrats Against Obama Group, cites the candidate's ties to the Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago and Rev. Jeremiah Wright and makes the claim that Barack Obama has been falsely accusing both the Clinton campaign and President Bill Clinton of race-baiting

"The media portrays him as some sort of messiah/Jesus Christ figure who is going to rescue us by a wave of his hand, a John F. Kennedy re-incarnated, a perfect, squeaky clean candidate, who has never done a thing wrong in his entire life," the petition says.

I have watched the media tear both Clintons apart,...I will no longer watch FOX NEWS ,
,MSNBC,or CNN,.. . I'm fed up with politics and I'm either NOT voting or,..I'm voting for Mc Cain ,..not because I like McCain,..but because that would be my way of "sticking it" to this farce of politics!!! Obama showed 130 / 134 times that he had no backbone about standing up for whatever his beliefs were or were not in Chicago,Ill. as was pointed out by John Edwards in a political debate between clinton, edwards and obama,.....Obama choe to vote "Present" inseat of Yea or Nay on bills on the senate floor,.. again, 130/134 times ,...some of which he put on the floor himself. I quit voting once before in Los Angeles because the politicans would overturn what voters would vote for in courts of Los Angeles. I am Through!!!

Obama is unfit for President and needs to go back to his white hating church.

The only clear cut racists in the democratic campaign are the Obamas. They seem to find it impossible to believe that people don't like them because of the type of individules they have shown themselves to be, not because they are black.. It just broke my heart when Michelle spoke about knowing how hard it is these days to make ends meet. I just don't know how the Obamas are managing to get by on her $300,000.00 PLUS salary and the Senators income. And here I was thinking we single mothers had it tough trying to live on less than $20,000.00 a year....shame on me!!. It just so happens I'm amongst the most descrminated segment of our society. Its not only legal but with respect to education and employment it is mandatory to descriminate against people like me. Heaven forbid I should complain about making 70 cents on the dollar for comparable work. For the record I was a supporter of Obama and even voted for him in my states primary., but that was before I learned his 3 main spiritual

Boycotting Obama Will Lead to Famine, Armageddon, Government-Controlled Uteruses, and other Scare Tactics

A lot of desperate Democrats are suddenly scrambling to "unify" with Clinton's supporters, now that they realize that their snowjob of an election will lead to an Obama boycott in November. The classic line says that we need to avoid letting emotions interfere with judgment and to think about "the issues." Well, here's my answer (disclaimer: I do not have a uterus).

First of all, I do not need to clear my head and take a deep breath. I am a lifetime Democrat, and I am very experienced having my candidate lose, but then moving on to support the party ticket. In past primaries, I voted for Dean, Bradley, and Jesse Jackson (twice!). Next.

Second, my vote represents more than just support for a set of standard liberal issues. It also protests liberal hypocrisy. The party espouses an equality rhetoric but has undermined it during this election. The party has bashed poor whit

Hillary Clinton cannot be trusted. She lies so easily and openly, it leads one to question her character. How can lying about being under sniper fire be "misspeaking"? In the average American's world, that is a lie. And then to speak out loud the unspeakable possiblity in her mind that her opponent could be assassinated??? What??? I had grave doubts about her judgement before, (voting for the Iraq war without reading documents available to her, supporting the gas tax holiday despite every economist saying it was a bad idea) but with that statement, she showed beyond a doubt that she does not have the judgement to lead PERIOD. Her candidacy has degenerated to the point of inciting nutty supporters to circulate crazy petitions.

Those petitioners are idiots.... Let's see, from the media I have learned that Obama used to smoke, that has used drugs, including cocaine, we've seen images of his pastor "Damning" America a hundred times, we've seen him in a Muslim turban in Africa, we've had the blown out of context "bitter gate", we've had the Bill Ayers nonsense. What the heck are these Clinton fanatics talking about? How is it that Clinton keeps getting a free pass while Obama gets raked over the coals, yet its the Clintons claiming media bias? Ugg...

    Emotion can be fatal.

Democrats who don't vote for the nominee (Obama) face two choices; a non-vote which is essentially a vote for McCain, or a vote for McCain. Well, to be frank, there's a third choice in this equation (a vote for Clinton), but doing so is the equivalent of shouting in deep space.

So when you pansies come off your high horses and recognize the facts of the matter, you won't be so willing to uproot your democratic principles to support Obama's opposition. However you cut it, that's what happens.

Why is it that absolutely everything the Clintons touch turns to garbage?

I can see some lame, sore loser Hillary supporters cooking this one up. If McCain wins, trust me, you will be sorry.
