Denial

Pandora Hall
You love...
Not out of need
But out of fear.
Fear of feeling, fear of needing,
fear of pain, fear of regret,
fear of life and then it ends.

You die...
Not waiting for love,
but haunted by pain.
Pain overtaking,
pain overwhelming,
secretly, silently, cruelly suffering.

Time - froze in an instant.
Your face;
so fragile, so distant.
The vision fades,
you're alone and afraid -
lost and afraid.
