Speaking in New Hampshire, Dennis Kucinich delivered an attack against the Bush Administration, charging the White House with using the excuse of terrorism to plan for a war with Iran and using military spy satellites and other military assets to spy on US citizens by putting everyone in the country under surveillance.

Congressman Kucinich accused the administration of lies and deception in creating a police state here are home and he also claims that everyone is secretly under surveillance from the spy satellites.

Kucinich made these comments in response to two announcements from the White House, one of them said that the Bush Administration has named Iran's Revolutionary Guard a terrorist organization and the other announcement was that the Administration has approved using spy satellites and sensors on aircraft that have the capacity to not only see through cloud cover but also have the ability to see into buildings and underground bunkers.

He claims that by labeling the Revolutionary Guard, which is Iran's military, a terrorist organization that the Administration is aiming to deceive Americans into thinking that it would be in our best interest to get ready to have a war with Iran and at the same time using the satellites and other military equipment on our own citizens, the Administration is in effect repealing the Constitution.

Kucinich goes on to say that the Administration has no knowledge of what civil liberties are, no knowledge of what the Constitution represents or what democracy is. He says that they are in violation of the oath they took to up hold and defend the Constitution as well as the laws of the United States.

He relates the use of the satellites to the Patriot Act which he voted against. The Congressman accuses the Patriot Act of tearing apart the Constitution, overlooking citizen's civil liberties by the use of illegal search and seizures, wiretaps without getting a warrant first, and other various actions that are taken without the usual judicial or legislative approval. Add to this the new spy satellite use every person in American can be under surveillance anytime and they may never know it happened or who has their personal information.

On argument that he puts forth relates to a law called the Posse Comitatus Act which bars any action by the military involving law enforcement within the boundaries of the United States.

On the terrorist designation for the Revolutionary Guard, he says this will be the catalyst that will cause more chaos in the area by interfering with the diplomatic processes going on and shows the leaders of Iran that the Bush Administration is aiming to force a change in their government.
