Denver Attractions Under $25

Denver, Colorado has something for everyone. The city offers amusement parks, museums, night clubs and sporting activities sure to please all personalities. Many of those attractions are available for under $25; allowing you an affordable vacation on almost any budget.

Family Friendly Attractions:

Lakeside Amusement Park: Gate Admission for this theme park is $2.50 with an additional charge of $.50 per ticket. Rides cost a range of 1-4 tickets per ride; but if you plan to get the full Lakeside experience, you will want the unlimited rides admission. Monday-Friday unlimited admission is $13.75, and weekend and holiday admission is $19.75. Lakeside Amusement Park offers a variety of rides ranging from kiddie rides, to the thrill of the Cyclone roller coaster.

Denver Zoo: General admission is $12 April-October and $9 November-March. The Denver Zoo is divided into six sections; Mammals, reptiles and amphibians, fish, birds, invertebrates, and plants. They also run a carousel ride featuring zoo animals for $2 and a train ride which escorts you around the zoo for $2.

Denver Museum of Nature and Science: This museum is divided into three attractions; a museum, an IMAX theater, and a planetarium. Each requires an admission: for children 3-18, the museum is $6, the IMAX is $6, a choice between the Museum and the IMAX or the planetarium is $10, and all of the features cost $14. For adults, the museum is $11, the IMAX $8, and the bundle is $21. The museum features many exhibits ranging from wildlife to Indian cultures. The IMAX features films mostly on wildlife but also have a documentary on Greece. The planetarium has shows on black holes, astronauts, the solar system, and the PBS series Zuma Patrol.

Coors Field: Home of the Colorado Rockies. Tickets are available starting from $10, with favorable seating available for as little as $25. When visiting Denver, watching the Colorado Rockies are almost a given. It is a chance to watch superstars slug home runs left and right for a fraction of the price of other ball parks.

Night Life:

The Shelter Night Club: Admission ranges from $5-$20 for ages 18 and up. The Shelter is regarded as the most energetic night club in Denver. Perfect for those looking to party hard. For those who are looking for a more relaxing environment, head down to the Milk lounge for a calming jazz scene.
