Denver Vs. Baltimore Score Quite Important
The Denver Broncos Are Looking to Remain Undefeated Against Baltimore Ravens
The week 8 Denver vs. Baltimore game is going to be covered in rain according to early weather reports out of Baltimore, and that means it is going to be a tough game to grind out the points. So far this season, Denver has managed to score 133 points in their first six games, and have only given up the paltry sum of 66 on the other side of the ball. Those 66 points are the fewest that any NFL team has given up this season, and it is a total that any defense could be proud of achieving. Some have stated that its a result of the weak competition that Denver has had overall, but 66 points is still very low no matter how you look at it.
Baltimore has had a better offense so far this season, but they have also had a tough time putting up the defensive numbers that made the Ravens synonymous with being one of the best defensive squads in the NFL. This season Baltimore has scored more points than Denver (169-133), but they have also given up twice as many points, meaning that their defense is really going to have to shine on Sunday if the Ravens are going to have any chance in this game. Not only is it important in the overall record, but Baltimore has slipped to third in the AFC North and are fading fast from a playoff chance.
A number of the football experts on television are already counting out Denver from being able to win this game, and they seem to have a number of things working against them, led primarily by having to play a game on the east coast an hour earlier and in terrible weather. Denver knows a little something about bad weather though, so maybe they will be able to shake it off early and not let it affect their game-time decisions. For Denver this is a great chance to gain a lot of respect around the league, because it they win they are going to get a lot of additional respect from not only other teams, but from more NFL fans as well.
In Game Score:
Baltimore 23 (Start of 4th Quarter)
Denver 7
