13th Door: The 13th Door is one local haunted house you may want to visit this Halloween. Legend has it that back in 1912 John Barrington, who owned the Barrington Hotel, threw a party one cold October night to celebrate All Hallows Eve. His nephew, Andrew had a very bad gambling problem and owed money to a lot of people who were getting tired of his empty promises to pay them back.
Andrew went to the party that night to try and get money from his uncle to pay back his debtors, but his uncle refused to help him. Andrew was very upset and promised to get revenge. Later that night, all of the exits were blocked off and a fire was started. Once firemen arrived, they were frustrated because they couldn't save anyone behind the locked doors. Only one man survived because he found the 13th door.
