Depression

Diane Zoller-Ciatto
Falling into the abyss
No sign of help is found
Scared and so alone
Looking for the higher ground.

"Cheer up" is so easy to say
But I would rather they go away
Advice can be so mundane
No blue skies...just let it rain.

Hope in the Lord
Is the solace I find
Brings peace to my heart
To ease my troubled mind.

Whenever I feel low, I look at others who have nothing but keep a cheerful disposition. That gives me the strength to look at life in a positve mode. We need to pick up the pieces and ultimately we have to find sustenance from within. I pray for you Nana that you are at your sprightly best soon and look forward to enjoy your creativity again - siva

I have also struggled with depression, and it is my faith in Jesus that has always brought me through. Thanks for the inspiration!

You know that you aren't alone, Diane. So many people have dark days. Just think of all of the goodness in this world & try to wake up to brightness. Hugs to you, friend. :)

Sometimes the best way through it is to feel it, perhaps even wallow in it...then release it.
