Deputies Find Nothing Wrong at Lindsay Lohan Home: See Sheriff Dept. Press Release

Valerie Ferrari
Lindsay Lohan's father, Michael Lohan, went to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department today and expressed concerns that his minor daughter, Ali, was in danger because she was staying with her older sister, Lindsay, and was unsupervised. Poliice departments and county sheriffs are pretty diligent these days about checking into any claims where a minor is alleged to be in danger so deputies accompanied him to Lindsay Lohan's residence, and checked everything out.

According to a press release issued by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department" "Deputies determined the 15 year old was not in danger and left the residence." See the Press Release here: Check on Welfare of a Minor.

Michael Lohan later said in an interview, "I went to the police department concerned about Ali's welfare ...I wanted to check on Ali. I wanted to make sure she's okay. She's 16 and she doesn't belong there. She's a minor." He further claimed to be worried about his younger daughter being exposed to bad influences through Lindsay: "Ali is being exposed to nightlife and the people Lindsay is surrounding herself with", he said.

Meanwhile, a spokeswoman for the Sheriff's Dept, Nicole Nishida, "Michael Lohan called the West Hollywood Sheriff's and was concerned about the welfare of his daughter who was with Lindsay Lohan - I don't know if they were living together. Sheriff's deputies went out to Lindsay Lohan's apartment and were given access by Lindsay Lohan and determined that for the [teen] as well as for Lindsay, there was no danger at all. A report was taken and that was it. "

An outraged Lindsay Lohan took to twitter as she likes to do: "i have no choice but to make this public, due to my sister's safety, as well as my own, 'my ex-dad' just WALKED INTO MY APT like the devil's...advocate with officers." She slammed her father and cried out for help: "when will it ever end... it's been going on my whole life with him-hasn't he caused enough pain ?"

She also had made some statements that she wants a restraining order against her father which, of course, would be a wiser course of action than Twitter. However, the sad fact of the matter is that if her sister is at her home, Michael Lohan could still send the Sheriff's deputies over to check on Ali Lohan.

According to www.merinews.com, a motive behind Michael Lohan's confrontations with Lindsay is to get her into an a court ordered sobriety program and it is claimed that Dr Drew Pinsky even suggested that Michael "set her up" and have her arrested, if that's what it takes.

I agree with Tony. Hollywood is filled with dysfunctional individuals like Lindsay Lohan. I hope and pray her sister isn't influenced by her. Great reporting as always.

If happens on Twitter, it stays on Twitter...

Lohan's mother and father need to get a reality show and leave lindsay the hell alone. Sheesh already, I wouldn't leave my dog with those two, shady not to be believed celebrity seekers.

Ali is a tall, slim, mature looking girl for her age that resides with he mother in NYC and takes fairly frequent trips to California to visit her sister since 2008. She now models for her sister's line, 6126, and is currently in LA working on a project with Lindsay. Since 2008 she's taken numerous trips with Lindsay abroad and no behavioral problems have been observed. When Lindsay goes out at night Ali does not accompany her (contrary to reports) and Lindsay claims Ali has a guardian supervising her.

Interesting comment in follow-up about the not-famous. Another AC writer was fretting over this all-to-public trainwreck of a family, and I suggested that Lindsay could sue the old man since she's good at that. NOW the old man can sue the cops; then Ali can sue the whole bunch to become an emancipated minor.

    Sad situation. Good write-up.

So I guess Lindsay won't be sending Michael a Father's Day card this year?

You would be surprised at how many not famous men and women use similar tactics during and after divorce, Nancy
