Deranged
He stands against the columns
Thinking that society owes him his life
His life, the lie which he continues to spew
His life... no longer the righteous
No longer able to complete thought
Or tell truths
Or recognize truths to be told
Deranged like a starving animal
Waiting for its next meal
Waiting for the help of angels who will never
Deranged, yet quick in his actions
Deranged?
Poor souls walking into the night and blue
Deranged for reasons unknown
People, family, friends who no longer care
Driven away like the smallest shell upon the shore
Tides flowing away from the safety of land
Deranged...
Waiting for his next meal...
