Derma Wand Product Review

Sarah Rachel
For the past few weeks I've been using a product called Derma wand. After watching the infomercial and reading positive reviews on line, I had to give it a try. According to advertisements, this product is meant to help reduce fine lines and wrinkles. This product is also supposed to help improve the overall health of the skin. Derma wand works by using electricity to massage the skin. The product has a bulb inside of it which produces light which is also meant to help condition the skin. Lower settings are for the skin under the eyes, and the higher settings can be used on other areas of the face. The reason for this is because the skin under our eyes is very delicate and sensitive. The book recommends using the lowest setting for bags under our eyes. The total price of the product with shipping and handling is about $120.00. The majority of the time the manufacturer will allow you to have your payment broken up into 3 installments. The first payment also starts 30 days after you receive the product. I live on a tight budget, so I decided to go with this option.

After using the product for myself, I must say that I am pleased with the results I've achieved so far. My skin is healthier and much softer. I am also using the lotions and potions that came with the product. If I fail to use the heavy duty lotions after using the product my skin tends to become dry. The directions say that you have the option to use your own lotion, and I will once I run out. My cheeks are very rosy and I have noticed that my acne is clearing up. I'm not sure if it is the ozone from the product which is helping my acne or the electricity, but regardless it is helping. I tend to get the best results if I use the product for at least 15 minutes at a medium to high setting. I concentrate on my acne for several minutes at a time. I start with my forehead first by sweeping the want back and forth and up and down, as described in the book. Next I will then hold the want under one pimple at a time for at least one minute. Lastly, I will then hold the derma wand away from my face but close enough to create an electric zap to the acne. Then I will move to another area of the face and do the same thing. I feel that this product helps to improve blood flow to the skin. Good circulation does help to bring more nutrients to the surface of the face. The only thing that took me a few days to get accustomed to was the strange smell.

I just purchased my Derma Wand. Have used it for two days, morning and evening, with my usual moisturizer for face and neck and my moisturizer for eyes and I am already thrilled. I noticed the difference almost immediately. It softened fine lines, both around the mouth and eyes, deep wrinkles, noticeable pores and my overall skin texture appears softer and tighter. I really am amazed and will definitely continue this daily regime. I am 57 yrs old, with an olive complexion. During the summer months my skin tans whether I like it or not. I recommend this product to anyone over 50. I really was not expecting the results that I've already seen, especially in such a short time.
