Once you have the posts, or the foundations placed properly, you can now start installing the wood pieces.
But before you can do this, please be sure that you have the wood pieces cut properly. Meaning that they too (wood pieces) have been cut into that same circular pattern that you plan to apply to your hardwood floor. This is when you will definitely need the know-how of using a saw and working with wood.
Starting your first row or line of wood pieces should have the circular look to it when you have finished applying those wood pieces. And depending on the size of the wood, you may see the entire design unfolding before your very eyes.
Depending on how you want the finished look to be, you can leave space toward the center of the floor to add some sort of inlay. Or what most would call a medallion. These add even more taste and flair to your hardwood floor designs.
Okay, back to installing the artwork of your expression. Keep in mind that your foundation makes no room for mistakes, if properly placed. Just follow the floor plans and postings to ensure that your custom-made hardwood floor will be an ending result of your personal look. Imagine the joy of having done something spectacular by yourself- ingenious!
Try using a multi-colored wood to enhance the look of your hardwood floor. This will add more flair to any design. It also gives the room a busy look, with the different colored wood on its floor. But, if you're using two different types of hardwood floor patterns, be sure that the cuts and shapes of patterns on each piece of wood is accurate. We hate for you to have an extra job on your hands where you have to redo everything because one piece didn't fit right. Yikes!
The finished look will give you and your guests an eyeful of pleasure once completed.
