K4, k-2, and spice are the drugs for people who wish to get a quick high. These items are legal to sell and produce a feeling of being high as one would if they smoke pot. K4, k-2, and spice are worse than pot on the body.

What exactly are K4, k-2, and spice? Why are they legal if they are so bad? These questions will be answered within this article.

K2 and spice are products, which contain a mixture of herbal ingredients mixed with chemicals. They are both synthetic cannabis. These synthetic cannabis blends first came into the marketplace sale in 2000, and were thought to be safe. They were designed to be burnt as incense, but of course, as time wore on, some people used the product for other purposes.

In 2008, a few of these blends were tested through a lab and the truth emerged. Those tests showed that these products contained synthetic cannabinoids. These fake cannabinoids are metabolized within the body and produce an effect much like the part in pot, which gives it the high feeling. In reality, these manufactures produced a legal way for people to get high. It was a new designer drug.

The product was banned in many states and then k4 emerged as a replacement. There are over 44 different types of k4 on the market currently. Some of these types are mixed or blending with others producing different aromas so customers can purchase over 300 different varieties of k4.

Like K-2 and spice, k4 contains the lab-produced cannabinoids. It makes kids high, and the word is out this is the new designer drug. Kids are flocking to it because it is legal sold in smoke shops, head shops and even some convenience stores. While the smoke shops require that customers be over 18 to purchase cigarettes and incense there is no age limit to purchasing the k4 in a convenience store.

Kids are able to walk into these convenience stores are purchase it, as easily as they can a candy bar or a soda. The sad part of this is, that k4 is not being used as an incense with these kids they are smoking it.

When this k4 is smoked as a joint or put in a pipe, it mimics a very bad trip. It makes the kids super high and they are overdosing on it. Kids are having seizures and vomiting all over. This product pushes the heart rate up to 200 beats a minute which is the prime number for a heart attack. This is becoming a very large problem in my local area as well as around the country.
